Card Values

Card values in baccarat are straightforward but slightly different from most other card games. Aces count as 1. Cards 2 through 9 count at face value. All tens, face cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as zero. If a hand totals more than 9, only the right digit is used — so a hand of 7 and 8 totals 15, which counts as 5.

The Deal

Each round begins with two cards dealt to both the Player hand and the Banker hand. Either hand may receive a third card under specific drawing rules. You do not make any decisions about whether to draw — the rules govern this automatically, which is one of the things that makes baccarat so accessible for new players in Bangladesh.

Natural Win

If either hand totals 8 or 9 on the first two cards, it is called a "natural." No further cards are drawn. The higher natural wins — if both are the same value, it is a tie. A natural is the cleanest outcome in baccarat and the one every player hopes to see when the cards are turned over.

Player Drawing Rule

If the Player hand totals 0 to 5, the Player draws a third card. If the Player totals 6 or 7, the Player stands. Simple and fixed — no choices involved.

Banker Drawing Rule

The Banker drawing rule is slightly more complex and depends on the Banker's current total and — if the Player drew a third card — what that third card was. In general: Banker draws on 0, 1, or 2 regardless. For totals of 3–6, drawing depends on the Player's third card value. The Banker stands on 7. You never need to apply this rule manually at bd09 — the live dealer handles all draws automatically.

Bets and Payouts

Every bd09 live baccarat table displays a series of scorecards — called road maps — in the corner of the screen. The most prominent is the Big Road, which records the outcomes of every completed hand using coloured circles. Blue (or red in some studios) represents a Banker win; red (or a hollow circle) represents a Player win; green represents a Tie.

The Big Road is read from top to bottom in columns, with each new column starting when the winning side changes. So a column of six blue circles means the Banker won six consecutive hands. When the result changes to Player, a new column begins. This visual pattern lets you quickly see recent streaks and chops (alternating results) at a glance.

Beyond the Big Road, bd09 tables typically display three derived roads: the Big Eye Boy, the Small Road, and the Cockroach Road. These are derived pattern-tracking tools that compare current shoe behaviour against historical patterns. They are popular among experienced baccarat players in Macau and across Asia, and many Bangladesh players at bd09 use them as part of their table selection process.

It is important to understand that road maps are purely historical records. Baccarat is dealt from a shuffled shoe, and each hand is statistically independent of previous outcomes. A long Banker streak does not make a Player win more likely on the next hand — the probabilities reset completely each round. Road maps are useful for spotting patterns visually and tracking your own session, but they carry no predictive power. Use them as an informational display, not as a betting guide.

The Bead Plate (also called the Bead Road) is the simplest scorecard — it records every outcome in sequence, left to right and top to bottom, with no column-shifting logic. Useful for quickly counting how many Banker, Player, and Tie results have appeared in the current shoe.
